Christianity VS Jesus
Have you heard some devoted Christians said, "Don't come to Jesus just because you need help. Worship Him, be devoted to Him, that's the most important."?
Now let's read what Jesus did in Mark 5:25-34
"Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ” And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”"
Reflections :
1. What did the woman hear about Jesus?
2. Why that woman sought Jesus? Was it to worship Him?
3. Did Jesus disqualify her to receive healing?
4. Did Jesus give any requirement before the healing happened?
5. Did Jesus demand something from her after she received what she needed from Jesus? Something to pay back, like her devotion, etc.
6. Did Jesus rebuke her of taking healing without His permission or He praised her instead?
7. Is the Jesus we believe the same as the Jesus that woman heard and received her healing from? How do you see Jesus?

8. What leads people to repentance? Is it the richness of God's goodness or His impatience towards people?
Romans 2:4
Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
9. What message do we listen and believe? Message that point us to our short-coming in our performance (self-conscious) or message that point us to Jesus our righteousness and what He's done on the cross for us (Christ-conscious)?
Galatians 3:5 "Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?"
10. What message do we carry? Does it bring good news in qualifying people in receiving from Jesus; or in the other hand, disqualifying people from receiving the goodness of God by giving some "holy" requirements?
